Day One
Arrive in Entebbe and be met by AdventureX guide, then three hour scenic journey to Bujagali Falls Jinja. Check into accommodation and head off on a local village walk and will have a chance to view a couple of the spectacular rapids the Nile has to offer. In the evening we have a B.B.Q and cold beers whilst watching the sun go down.

Day Two
Choose and fit out our kayaks, followed by a small taster session on the flat waters below the campsite. This session will allow you to feel comfortable in the kayak and cover basic strokes, capsize drills and rescues. In the evening we have a lecture and slide show about kayaking on the nile and various rivers in the region.

Day Three
Today we head up stream to the source of the Nile, where we launch ourselves into our first white water section. As the stretch is so small we can run it twice taking our time, and learn about running rivers, group safety and river reading. In the evening we hold a rolling session in the swimming pool based at the campsite.

Day Four
Today we head down stream to Kalagala Falls, where we start to paddle some slightly more demanding water. Exploring all the different channels we expand on our river running techniques. We then make camp at ‘The Hairy Lemon’ a beautiful mid river island. The island boasts beautiful natural pools which offer the ideal place to perfect those Eskimo rolls.

Day Five
After a brief skills session in the morning we head out on some of the rapids surrounding the island and move down stream taking on some nice big volume class three rapids. We then shuttle back to ‘the Hairy Lemon’ for the night.

Day Six
We head back up stream to Kalagala Falls where we run this section once again but this time taking on slightly bigger volume channels. This will be the ultimate test for your new found skills. In the evening we transfer back to Bujagali Falls to our accommodation for the final night. After a big B.B.Q we watch our final sun set over the Nile river.

Day Seven
After breakfast we take the spectacular drive back to Entebbe to fly home. Alternatively you can stay on and we are more than happy to continue organising your logistics.
